Apple Leisure Group Bolsters Leadership Team to Drive Aggressive Hotel Development Growth Strategy

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA. (Sept. 13, 2017) – Apple Leisure Group® (ALG) has announced the addition of Vice President of Development Federico Moreno-Nickerson to the team as part of the company’s overarching strategy to grow its resort brand management portfolio through its subsidiary, AMResorts. Moreno-Nickerson will support the ALG Development team, which is hyper-focused on delivering unmatched hospitality expertise to hotel owners looking to invest in new assets or boost existing hotel property performance across Mexico, the Caribbean and Latin America.

To reinforce ALG’s expansion efforts, the company unveiled a new website, ALGdevelopment.com, where hotel owners and investors can learn about the company’s offerings and unique positioning, latest news and industry updates from the leadership team.

As Vice President of Development, Moreno-Nickerson will focus on expanding the company’s footprint, specifically in Mexico, the English-speaking Caribbean and Latin America. Moreno-Nickerson leverages over 30 years of experience in destination marketing, hotel management, operations and product development in the luxury hotel space. He will also focus on strengthening relations with partners and tourism organizations in ALG Development’s target destinations.

Before joining ALG Development, Moreno-Nickerson spent 13 years as director of product development at Classic Vacations, Expedia’s luxury brand. During this time, he worked closely with hotel partners and tourism boards to expand their mutual business in the Caribbean and Mexico’s top selling vacation destinations. Throughout his career, Moreno-Nickerson worked for several international chains the Caribbean, U.S. and Europe such as Accor, Four Seasons, Hilton International and Hyatt Domestic and in Mexico with Posadas and Camino Real.

Moreno-Nickerson is the latest addition to ALG Development’s growing team, which operates in the U.S. from the company’s headquarters in Newtown Square, Penn. and Miami, Fla., as well as in-country across the globe to provide unmatched owner support.
