Barcelona, Madrid, May 24, 2022.- This May, the recently refurbished Dreams Calviá Mallorca starts its season. A four-star hotel, owned by Hotel Investment Partners (HIP), Blackstone's hotel investment company and the leading hotel owner in southern Europe, and operated under a brand of AMR Collection®, the hotel management company of Apple Leisure Group® (ALG), part of Hyatt, which after its renovation has achieved the "very good" rating of the BREEAM® sustainability seal, the international benchmark certificate in the field of buildability.

With four stars and located only a hundred metres from the Mediterranean Sea, the objective of HIP and ALG in the transformation of the hotel was to generate an innovative and differential offer in the area of Magaluf, on the island of Mallorca and one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Balearic Islands. Following an investment of close to twenty-seven million euros by HIP, a complete renovation of the existing facilities and the construction of two new buildings has been carried out, one with twenty-two rooms where the premium rooms for Preferred Club guests are located, and another with eighteen. Thus, the hotel has a total of 391 rooms, less than before the renovation, as the hotel has increased the number of junior suite and suite rooms in its strong commitment to quality.

The new Dreams Calviá Mallorca has been designed by the renowned interior designer Jaime Beriestain for the design of the rooms and common areas. With a strong commitment to entertainment and wellness, it has a wellness area, gym, Explorer's Club for the little ones and Core Zone, a club for the entertainment of teenagers. With regard to the facilities, the asset has a total of four swimming pools, one of them with all the facilities for children, Balinese beds, several terraces, solarium and areas reserved for adults only.

In addition, with the aim of offering a complete premium experience, new gastronomic concepts have been incorporated into its culinary offer with which to enjoy live cooking and a varied offer with an emphasis on local produce. Thus, its two all-inclusive buffets, four à la carte restaurants with Mallorcan and international cuisine, two snack bars and the food market make up a quality proposal and unique experiences for the client to enjoy a holiday with family or as a couple.

HIP has carried out a comprehensive transformation of both the asset and the concept, offering an innovative, lifestyle customer experience. The facilities have been adapted and the quality of service has been enhanced to align with the quality standards of the AMR™ Collection Dreams Resorts & Spas brand. HIP's strategy for assets such as this one, with its size and privileged location, involves the creation of value through an investment and management plan that allows the hotel to be repositioned, which has a positive impact on the development of the destination, an objective shared with ALG.
