Apple Leisure Group Continues Growth in the Caribbean with New Boutique Resort Deal in Jamaica
PHILADELPHIA, PA (Sept. 16, 2015) — Apple Leisure Group® subsidiary AMResorts® continues its rapid expansion in the Caribbean with the announcement of a new deal in the popular destination of Montego Bay. The 15th new resort deal announced by the company this year brings its luxury boutique brand Zoëtry® Wellness & Spa Resorts to Jamaica. By the end of 2018, AMResorts will have 56 resorts in 25 destinations, reaching the 20,000 room milestone.

Zoëtry Montego Bay Jamaica is owned by Marina Resorts LLC and will remain under the Coyaba Beach Resort & Club name until April 15, 2016, at which time it will close to undergo extensive renovations to incorporate Zoëtry Wellness & Spa Resorts’ brand standards. The plans include enhancement of the guest accommodations and facilities to offer the brand’s signature Endless Privileges® vacation concept amenities, including: no check-in or check-out times, maid service three times daily, 24-hour concierge service, private in-suite dining and more. A new spa and fitness center, meeting rooms, new pools, and a wedding gazebo will complete the experience.

The resort will re-open its doors as Zoëtry Montego Bay Jamaica in December 2016 to coincide with the holiday travel season. Situated on a white sand beach, the intimate property will feature 46 finely appointed guest rooms, three gourmet à la carte restaurants offering an assortment of organic food and beverage selections and two bars serving unlimited top-shelf spirits. The resort is located within a 10-minute drive from Sangster International Airport, and activities including golfing, diving and horseback riding are only a few minutes away.
